Bond Fashion

(March 1, 2001) – The Northridge/Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce
kicks off the year 2001 with a bang!
Dubbed “AGENT-TWO-DOUBLE-O-ONE,” the event features a “Monte Carlo
Night” installation of new officers Thursday, March 1, 2001, at the Porter
Valley Country club, 19216 Singing Hills Dr., Northridge, CA.
The
new Northridge/Porter Ranch Chamber officers and board will officially be
inducted at the annual Chamber installation dinner, which begins with the Casino
at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m.
Incoming Northridge/Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce Chairwoman Marty
Laff is optimistic about the San Fernando Valley and business growth in year
2001. “Businesses are discovering the best kept secret in the Valley, and on
this James Bond ‘AGENT-TWO-DOUBLE-O-ONE,’ we plan to break the code and
invite more business to become members. We’re excited about growing new
membership and we believe this will be a banner year for new business
development and expansion. We have one of the most famous hospitals and only
Trauma Care Center in the Valley, Northridge Hospital Medical Center; one of the
most unique shopping centers, the Northridge Fashion Center; some of the most
powerful corporations, such as AOL-Time Warner Communications; and small-to-medium, but fast-growing businesses
among others, all located right here in the San Fernando Valley.”

new Board of Directors and Officers are: Northridge/Porter Ranch Chamber of
Commerce Chairwoman Marty Laff, and investment representative, Edward Jones

The
Northridge/Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce has served businesses in Northridge,
Porter Ranch, and surrounding areas for more than 80 years. Northridge is 17
square miles, with a population of nearly 29,000, is located in the Northwest
