“I wanted to do
this for myself, my family and other breast cancer victims,” said event
Project Director Lissa Levin Guntzelman of the Dr.
Susan Love Research Foundation’s MAMMOJAM 2010. “I’m a TV writer/producer,
but also an 18-year breast cancer survivor and my mother died of breast
cancer at age 60, so my experience and entertainment industry connections
will help fight the disease. I have supported Dr. Susan Love Foundation,
because she has committed her life to putting an end to breast cancer in
our lifetime. And I have a daughter who’s now 20, and I want her to see
this happen.”
Van Amstel will take center stage, demonstrating
his Louis’ Dance Blast moves for the crowd to follow, including dance
pros, and students from his Sherman Oaks and
Celebrities and the public are invited
to put on their dancing shoes, too for the dance party, which is expected
to raise the roof when it kicks into high gear at
The
event will feature music from the
70’s to Salsa and Disco to Today. Club DJ Prophecy. Dedications of songs
will be offered on seven video screens around the dance floor. Participants
will have the chance to be partnered with a professional guest dancer, free
appetizers, a full no-host bar, a free neck and shoulder massage, not to
mention an opportunity to mingle with lots of celebrities and surprise guests
on the dance floor.
MAMMOJAM 2010 will be a celebration of women of all ages joining forces
to fight this deadly disease including mothers and daughters, family members
and friends, and the men who love them.
“Let’s dance to kick breast cancer to the curb while supporting the
Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation,” said Guntzelman. Everyone can have
a great time for a great cause. Just

party-on to help the cause!
