David Joshua Smith

Executive Producer

Writer, director, and producer of Catharsis, David Joshua Smith grew up in Chatham, New Jersey, and graduated from Ithaca College in upstate New York. Following graduation in 1996, he moved to Los Angeles to further his film aspirations.

After spending a year in production doing Production Assistant and Assistant Director work for a variety of features, Smith moved into post production by accepting a job at Rushes in Los Angeles where he currently works as a staff telecine colorist, working with a multitude of clients on various commercials, music videos, and feature films. He lives in Pasadena, California, with his very understanding wife, Dawn.
