Pop Singer Seven Silvasy Helps The
American
Cancer Society In Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Philadelphia– Rising Pop Sensation Seven Silvasy, who grew up in northeast
“I’m participating in
honor of my aunt, Penny Silvasy, who died of Breast Cancer 17 years ago,” said
Silvasy. “I named my team ‘Prayers For Penny’ to honor her.”
Since 1993, Making Strides Against
Breast Cancer has been the American Cancer Society's premier event to raise
awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. Since then, three million walkers
have raised more than $194 million through Making Strides. Last year, more than 400,000 walkers across the country
collected more than $34 million.
Making Strides events take place throughout the country, throughout the year,
and are typically five kilometers (3.1 miles) or five miles in length. This
year, more than 110 walks will be held throughout the nation according to

Silvasy, 25, who has overcome
physical and career challenges herself, has bounced back to the music world
with a new lineup of songs posted at her company website, www.sevensilvasy.com and her personal

“My biggest musical influence has been my mother, who is a songwriter,” she
said. Her newest song is entitled “Sunday,” which is a ballad about her
