Below is a summary of the various media outreach activities

coverage included:
- Los Angeles Times Business Economic
Editor Bill Sing conducted
interviews with Economist Jack Kyser, and staff in advance of the event.
The story was published prominently in the Business section of the Los
Angeles Times and on the website www.LATimes.com.
- Los Angeles Daily News Business Editor
Greg Wilcox conducted interviews
with LAEDC staff and Vice President
and Chief Economist Jack Kyser to write an advanced story for the Los Angeles
Newspaper Group. The front-page story was published on the morning of the
embargoed forecast distribution. The Los Angeles Newspaper Group, which has a
circulation of more than one million (eight newspaper members.
- CNN Reporter Jim Roope
interviewed Chief
Economist Jack Kyser about the “Forecast.” Stories aired on the CNN radio
station members after midnight
and all day on July 21st CNN Radio currently has more than 2,000 radio
affiliates, 400 in California. It is the world’s largest
radio network.

Daily Variety Magazine interview Jack Kyser and ran the Hollywood
side of the forecast on the front page of the weekly magazine.
- City News Wire Services published
the advisories, news releases and other collateral we faxed and emailed to
them. The news alerts resulted in the CNS Budget listing and they posted news release materials
were published on the wire service after the event, too.

Associated Press Business Reporter Gary
Gentile called for Jack Kyser and may run the story later this week.
·
United Press International (UPI)’s Pat Nason
took the Hollywood angle and published a length story on
the forecast and was posted globally on the UPI website. Through its partners and clients, UPI reaches two-three million
readers.

Reuters, SF called for Jack Kyser
and indicated they might published the story, too.
- Orange County Register Reporter James kelleher interviewed Jack Kyser and LAEDC
staff for a story to appear this week in the OCR. The Orange County
Register is the largest of 28 daily newspapers operated by Freedom Communications, Inc. The Register
also publishes 23 weekly newspapers, including the Spanish-language
newspaper, Excelsior, three magazines, and myOC.com,
the local Orange County
internet Web portal.

The Hollywood Reporter also called
for Jack Kyser and plan to run the story.
- Ventura
County Star
interviewed Jack Kyser for the embargoed story and published it the
morning of the release. Ventura
County Star daily newspaper is printed mornings, Saturday and Sunday.
Circulation: 94,665. Sunday: 102,821.
- North
County Times interviewed Jack Kyser and staff in advance for a story
to appear July 21st Story was published on the day of embargoed
release.
- San Gabriel Valley Tribune’s ran the embargoed
story the morning of the release and called after receiving our
information and advisories. SGV is part of the Los Angeles Newspaper
Group.
- The Press Enterprise interviewed
Jack Kyser for the embargoed story and published the story on the morning
of July 21st.
- The Daily Inland Bulletin interviewed
Jack Kyser for the embargoed story and published the story on the morning
of the event July 21st. It was also published on its web site.
- Antelope Valley Press called for the embargoed story and published the story
on the morning of July 21st. It was also published on its web site.
- US Japan Weekly called for Jack Kyser and said they
might do the story later on the
Tourism industry portion.
- KFWB 980 News conducted
interviews with Jack Kyser in advance of the event and ran the stories the
morning of the release. The story was also placed on the KFWB website at: www.kfwb.com. KFWB 980 AM is the number
one all news radio station, and has three million listeners during the noon hour. It is owned by Viacom/CBS.
- KNX News called, but we too busy
with wildfires.

KPCC
89.3 FM News Interviewed Jack Kyser airing the story tomorrow. KPCC is
the flagship station of Southern California Public Radio. It airs all of the
signature public radio news and talk programs, along with locally produced ones
and has a good following.
